Test Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyzing test requirements and preparing test documentation and cases in collaboration with the client
• Conducting manual tests, with root cause analysis and documentation of outcomes
• Establishing regression test sets and test cases for automation
• Collaborating closely with the business unit and coordinating test activities as needed
• Developing test data to facilitate testing processes
• Reviewing test cases and related documentation
• Logging error tickets in the customer’s defect tracking system
• Resolving findings through retesting and responding to follow-up questions
• Working within an agile team and actively engaging in planning meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical education in IT (HTL, university of applied sciences, or university) or a comparable qualification
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing and a basic understanding of the software development process
• Experience in both traditional and agile project work, with a passion for teamwork and mutual support
• Interest in innovative and forward-looking projects and technologiesHigh standards for software quality and development
• Strong customer orientation, hands-on mentality, sense of responsibility, and meticulous work style
• Professional demeanor and clear communication skills with excellent German and good English proficiency
• An ISTQB certification is an advantage
