We are overjoyed to announce that QESTIT has achieved a remarkable success with the completion of Sharjah Islamic Bank’s project, and all within an impressive 10-month timeline! The ambitious goal was to upgrade the bank’s system from release R14 to R23, and the journey to get there was as exhilarating as it was challenging.
Here’s how we made it happen:
System Integration Testing (SIT)
From the start, our dedicated teams rolled up their sleeves and dove deep into testing all the interfaces, batch processes, and APIs. Each system component was scrutinized for performance, integration, and seamless functionality. Our goal was nothing less than total confidence in the system’s readiness for launch, and we achieved just that.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) :
With precision and sheer determination, QESTIT took on the challenge of running 19,000 test cases! These tests touched every profile across the bank’s diverse departments, ensuring that each business function worked as intended. Our team left no stone unturned in covering all the critical elements that would impact day-to-day operations for Sharjah Islamic Bank’s staff and customers.
Data Reconciliation
As part of ensuring the system’s robustness, QESTIT spearheaded an intensive series of MOCK tests. These simulations replicated real-world scenarios, ironing out any potential data discrepancies and ensuring flawless migration and integrity. Each round brought us closer to perfect assurance that the system was primed and ready to handle live data, paving the way for a smooth Go Live phase.
Performance Testing
The system’s upgrade was not complete until it was battle-tested under real-world loads. QESTIT conducted several rounds of performance testing, honing in on different aspects of T24—from APIs to ATM systems to browser functionalities. We fine-tuned each component to ensure peak performance, stability, and reliability, and the final rounds delivered the comfort needed for a high-performance system, resilient under pressure.
