Our initiatives
Through the Decarbon’action project with BPI France, our French team initiated a meaningful change to reduce our carbon footprint. It began with a full assessment of GHG emissions, covering travel, building emissions, waste, and procurement, followed by an ongoing tailored reduction plan. An initiative uniting our team in a proactive CSR effort.
Supporting meaningful causes is a core value for us. A recent example of this commitment is in Egypt where our team laced up their running shoes and hit the pavement, running 3km, 5km, and 10km to support the Magdi Yacoub Foundation. The mission: raise funds and awareness for life-saving heart surgeries for children in need.
QESTIT Austria has been collaborating with the zam Foundation for several years to empower unemployed women. By offering practical training and education programs, this initiative opens up new career paths for women. Through this partnership, we contribute to fostering equality and integrating women into the IT industry.
In Germany, a partnership between Oberschule Rauschwalde and QESTIT has been recognized by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs. This collaboration provides students with hands-on IT knowledge through real-world projects, comprehensive career guidance, and exclusive internship opportunities.
In Sweden, QESTIT and the Blekinge Institute of Technology are collaborating to develop intelligent, user-friendly automated testing solutions that not only enhance efficiency but also contribute to a positive societal impact. By leveraging the academic tool Scout and Augmented Testing, the project enables sustainable testing processes that conserve resources, reduce energy consumption, and minimize the reliance on manual labor.
QESTIT collaborates regularly with BearingPoint and APF France Handicap on the Test’In program to include individuals with disabilities and those distant from the job market in digital professions. As the training partner, QESTIT Academy offers a 3-month program in software testing, culminating in an ISTQB® certification and a job placement.
As part of a skills-based sponsorship, colleagues tested the HopHopFood app, which connects surplus food to those in need through a digital platform and pantry network. This tool helps reduce food waste and combat precariousness for both businesses and individuals
