About the Role

As a Senior Consultant Test Automation Engineer, you take responsibility for developing and optimising automated tests, advise our clients with your long-standing expertise in test automation solutions and lead a team of testers to significantly improve quality across various projects.

Responsibilities

  • You design, develop and maintain automated test cases (UI and services) within the client's tool ecosystem.
  • Furthermore, you carry out the tests, analyse the results and use them to continuously improve test coverage and software quality.
  • With your know-how, you run tool evaluations to select the right test automation solutions for the project.
  • Tailored test automation concepts are part of your toolbox for streamlining the progress of our client projects.
  • You are a mentor and coordinator for other testers and take on the role of Lead Test Automation Engineer.

Qualifications

  • You have already gained 6 years of experience in software testing, ideally in implementing automated tests.
  • Solid domain knowledge in banking and/or insurance rounds out your profile.
  • In addition, you have acquired advanced skills in at least two test automation tools such as TOSCA, Selenium, SoapUI, Ranorex or similar.
  • You bring programming experience in languages such as Java, C#, C++, Groovy Script or comparable technologies.
  • Strong client and service orientation and confident communication skills make you an excellent team player.
  • Your trolley is always ready to roll, and you are happy to use it regularly for business trips.
  • With business fluent German language skills (C1) and ISTQB certification, you fulfil two key requirements for a successful start with us.
